The plan of this project is to construct a monumental, stained glass geodesic dome which will then be auctioned. The proceeds will be donated to a fund or funds that fight domestic violence. The goal of the dome project is threefold: 1) to augment the monetary resources of domestic violence prevention funds, 2) to increase public awareness of domestic violence and 3) to build a lasting monument to those who have worked to prevent and those who have suffered from domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a pervasive crime that often goes unreported and, when reported, is frequently mishandled. Organizations such as Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVP) work to eleminate domestic violence with various tactics such as education, intervention, training, etc.

How can I help with the Dome project? - At this point the project is still in it's infancy. The biggest help would be legal advice on how to become a non-profit organization, fund or foundation so that contributions could be made to the cause and be counted as tax write-offs.
